Introductory sessions to using library facilities

You are kindly invited to attend an introductory session to using the library facilities at Empa and Eawag, especially on how to use the online library catalogue (www.nebis.ch) to order books as well as PDF copies from journal articles, learn how to search and find literature with Scopus (www.scopus.ch), Web-of-Science, Google Scholar (scholar.google.com) and other databases. Topics like how to get online access to ETH-Library with VPN, how to find out about scientific ranking of journals, papers and authors, will also be addressed briefly.

First come, first served. We accept 12 students per session. Please send an email to library@eawag-empa.ch if you would like to attend, and at what day. You may also suggest something specific to be discussed (copyright issues, open access publishing, or the like).
